Get the file back while the meeting's still fresh.
You had the conversation, you know the strategy, you've written the file note. Then it sits. PLTCo does the preparation behind Australian advice practices — paraplanning, admin, data and liaison — so the draft comes back in days. You set the scope, you make the call, you issue the advice. We do the rest.
Where does the week actually go?
Your numbers, your assumptions. A capacity estimate — not a savings promise. AUD, excl. GST.
Assumptions: your inputs only. Charge-out rate is a rate, not profit or cash collected, and recovered hours may remain non-billable. Net figure appears only when you enter a service cost, and compares theoretical capacity against that cost — it is not a forecast. Excludes GST. Indicative only; not financial, tax or accounting advice.
Four jobs you'd rather not be doing at 7pm.
Practice admin
Fact finds, CRM administration, provider follow-up, review preparation, ongoing fee renewals, written consents and target market determination checks.
What's covered →Paraplanning
Documents drafted from adviser-approved instructions, in your templates, checked against your practice checklist.
What's covered →Data & migration
Legacy books into Xplan, AdviserLogic or Worksorted, with field-by-field verification and an exception report.
What's covered →Centrelink & aged care
Age Pension claims, means-test updates, ACAT and RAD/DAP paperwork, DVA. The hold time isn't yours any more.
What's covered →Most providers sell you a full-time person. Not every practice needs one.
A five-day FTE is the wrong purchase for a two-adviser firm. So we scope in days, in documents, or as a one-off project.
Full-time
Five days a week, dedicated to your practice, working Australian hours alongside your team.
SuitsPractices with steady volume and enough surrounding admin to fill a week.
Part-time — 2, 3 or 4 days
The same named person, the same training, the same Australian lead. Just fewer days. Fixed days each week so you can plan around them.
SuitsSmaller practices, seasonal peaks, or testing the water before committing to a week.
Per document
Paraplanning priced per advice document, with no ongoing commitment. Send one, send twelve.
SuitsLumpy volume, overflow during a busy quarter, or covering a paraplanner's leave.
Project
A defined piece of work with a start and an end — a data migration, a book acquisition, a consent-renewal catch-up.
SuitsOne-off backlogs and transitions you don't want to carry into next quarter.
We prepare. Your adviser decides.
PLTCo drafts Statements of Advice, runs the admin and chases the paperwork — always from adviser-approved instructions. Scope, strategy, product selection and the judgement that advice is appropriate stay with your adviser and licensee. We're not licensed to advise, and we never pretend otherwise.

No email capture, no download. Tick honestly and it'll tell you where to start.
Somebody in your practice is on hold to Services Australia right now.
High value for the client, zero challenge for the adviser, and a time cost set by someone else's queue. The most expensive hour in your practice — and the easiest to hand over.

There's no shortage of clients. There's a shortage of Tuesdays.
No shortage of Australians who want advice. A very real shortage of people to prepare it. Since the Hayne fallout the adviser register has shrunk, the CSLR levy has landed on the firms that stayed, and DBFO has changed the paperwork without removing the strategy work behind it.
That's why we lead on speed rather than savings. Whether the economics work in your practice depends on your volumes, your charge-out rates and how much of the recovered time you can actually bill — which is what the call is for.
How we're builtEleven years running Australian practices. Same problem every year: clients arriving faster than we could hire.
Every offshore provider I rang sold me cheaper hours. Not one led with the thing I needed — a first draft back in days instead of weeks, so the client who said yes on Tuesday wasn't still waiting a month later.
So we train ahead of demand rather than after a contract is signed. It's an expensive way to run a business, and it's the reason we can start quickly.
You'll meet them before you commit. Then you keep them.
Every engagement gets a named Australian lead and named specialists — the same people, week after week, who learn how your practice likes things done.
Adelaide-raised, Melbourne-based. Started PLTCo after failing to hire three paraplanners in one year.
Nine years a practice paraplanner. Will argue about document templates for hours. Has.
Ex-actuarial. Keeps bees. Reckons both involve more paperwork than people expect.
Eleven years of Age Pension and aged care casework. Swears by ringing early. Usually right.
About a fortnight, from first call to real work.
Published, so you can hold us to it. Timing varies with scope, systems access and your own availability.
The honest call
What's queued, what's late, and which of it an adviser is doing. If you don't need us yet, we'll say so and you keep your twenty minutes.
Workflow mapping
Your platform, templates, checkpoints and approval chain documented before anyone touches a file — including who approves what, and at which point.
You interview them
You meet the person, not a salesperson. Already hired, already trained, already working AEST. Wrong fit, we match again.
Parallel run
Your team keeps working; ours works alongside. You compare output before anything depends on us.
Live against an agreed schedule
Agreed turnaround targets, regular reporting, one named Australian lead accountable for the engagement.
Including the ones providers avoid.
How does this work alongside our AFSL?
PLTCo provides outsourced preparation and administration support. Your adviser determines the advice scope, strategy and recommendations, and decides whether the advice is appropriate. Your adviser and licensee retain review, approval, supervision and compliance responsibility for the advice and the file. PLTCo does not provide financial product advice or credit assistance unless formally authorised to do so. Outsourcing arrangements sit within your licensee's obligations, so we supply the service agreement, data-handling policy and controls summary your responsible manager needs on file — and if your licensee has its own outsourcing schedule, we'll complete yours.
Do we need to tell clients, or get their consent?
Your practice needs to determine any client notification or consent requirements before we access client information — this isn't something we can assure on your behalf. What applies depends on your privacy policy and collection notices, your client engagement terms, the Australian Privacy Principles, your confidentiality obligations, and your licensee's outsourcing policy. We're happy to be named in your disclosures and to work to whatever position you and your licensee land on. If it's useful, we'll walk your responsible manager through exactly what information our team would access and why.
How is client data handled?
We work inside your approved systems using unique named user accounts with least-privilege access, and access is revoked when a team member leaves your engagement. Handling follows the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988: secure transfer, audit logging, data minimisation, and controlled retention and deletion. We minimise copies of your data and keep work within approved environments — noting that controlled temporary processing, migration staging and system logs are a normal part of the work, and are covered by agreed retention terms in the service schedule.
What does it cost?
Scoped against volume and turnaround, not a rate card. The comparison worth making is against the fully loaded cost of the alternative you're considering — for employment, that means salary, superannuation, leave, on-costs and recruitment; for a contractor, the effective per-document cost including rework. Whether the economics work depends on your volumes and how much recovered adviser time you can actually bill. Bring three months of numbers and we'll work through it with you.
What if the work isn't right?
Work that doesn't meet the standard agreed in your service schedule is corrected at our cost. If the arrangement still isn't working, 30 days' notice ends it — no minimum term and no exit fee.
Can we start with two days a week instead of a full-time person?
Yes, and plenty of practices do. You can engage someone for two, three or four fixed days a week — same named person, same training, same Australian lead, just fewer days. You can also work per document or as a one-off project if your volume is lumpy. Most smaller practices start part-time and add days as the work justifies it, rather than buying a week and hoping to fill it.
"The bit I didn't expect was how much quieter my week got. Same clients, same volume — I just stopped being the bottleneck in my own practice."Daniel M. · Principal, advice practice, Melbourne VIC
Twenty minutes. Bring last quarter's numbers.
No deck, no discovery framework, no second call before you get anything useful. We'll work through your support hours together and you keep the working, whichever way you go.
Two days a week or five · No minimum term · 30 days' notice
